Group rainforest plants

Playdoh is the best. This is a well known fact, but it is currently in short supply at work so we looked at building our tropical rainforest plants as groups of 4, where each person was in charge of one adaptation and then created a Frankenstein’s monster of a plant. Each plant then had a photo shoot whilst the pupils sketched it and annotated its features using the mark scheme provided to them. Each photoshoot was shown to the class and we then voted for the most successful plant and discussed why this was the case. Great fun and worked even with the lack of Playdoh on hand!
